New Beginnings Residential Treatment Facilities

Who We Are

New Beginnings Residential Treatment Facilities is a non-profit corporation established to serve 300s (social service) and 600s (wards of Court) non-parenting minors, and pregnant and parenting minors between the ages of 12 and 17 years old; non-minor dependents and pregnant and parenting non-minor dependents between the ages of 18-19 years old; and babies newborn to age 2, in a short-term residential treatment program. Our program offers individualized treatment tailored to each client’s needs which typically takes place over six months and is built on a 24-hour milieu overseen by a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals and well-trained youth development specialist. Based on cognitive behavioral principles, this highly structured experiential program is designed to teach children cognitive strategies and social skills that will enable them to live effective and fulfilling lives at home and in the community.

Although our specialty remains with pregnant or parenting minors or non-minor dependents, we expanded our program to include non-pregnant teens in April 2005.

Services offered:

New Beginnings Residential Treatment Facilities (NBRTF) is a residential treatment program for pregnant teens, teen mothers and their babies, non-parenting teens, and NMDs (Non-minor Dependents). Clients served are females between the ages of 12 to 19 years old. NBRTF specializes in care for teens that have been physically abused, sexually abused, mentally abused, and neglected. NBRTF will take private placements.

NBRTF provides a comprehensive variety of treatment services designed to meet the needs of each client. Our treatment team is made of qualified staff, who identify each client’s needs and then seek out appropriate resources and necessary services to meet those needs. NBRTF believes, if each client is given the necessary tools to function, they will have a successful transition into society.
